Description
(from minutes of FpDev Workshop 2012)
In the future, it was agreed that the cloud liquid water content/cloud ice content from ECMWF should be utilized. One current obstacle is that this would mean the introduction of two additional 3-D fields.

Nilu is going to implement reading of these two fields next week (in version 9.2.)
Afterwards they will study the best way of using CLWC and CIWC.

We will keep you updated.

I assume that the CWC reading & usage will be an OPTION (also needed for bwd compatibility of EN files).

The reading of these fields will only be done if the fields are there.

We will still should have a switch to avoid unnecessary overhead in the case that CW fields exist in the EN files but should not used.

integrated in the released v10.3
We introduced the retrival of the fields CLWC and CIWC. The Nilu group is now testing and working on implementing algorithms to improve wet deposition based on those two fields.
