Concentration Results of Flexpart-WRF Being Equal to Zero.

I got run from Flexpart-Wrf test case and I got the message that I have successfully completed a Flexpart-Wrf model run. However, when I see the netcdf result, all of the concentration values are equal to zero. I don't know why I get this result. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S: I changed line 233 of convmix_kfeta.f90 file as it was mentioned in ticket #107, but I still get zero as the result of model.

Which version of FLEXPART-WRF are you using?

Which of the tests are you referring to?

Is your file size zero, or are your values zero?

I got a run from the testcase of Flexpart-Wrf version3.1 and I got the values of concentrations NOT equal to zero.
Now I am trying to run the model for Tehran in 2014/02/08-2014/02/10 duration. Although I have tried a lot, I get results as concentration equal to zero. I have attached my namelist.input and namelits.wps for WRF files and flexwrf.input.backward1 and AVAILABLE2 for Flexpart-Wrf model. Any helps in this regard would be appreciated.

Why are you using

 -1                WIND_OPTION       0=snapshot winds, 1=mean winds,2=snapshot eta-dot,-1=w based on divergence

Did you output instantaneous or averaged winds in WRF?

Dear pesei,

I tried to run the model with WIND_OPTION equal to 0, 1, 2 and -1 and compare the results. When I changed the WIND_OPTION to 1 as well as 2, I got the following error:

* readwind — error doing ncread of U

* readwind — /home/maryam/WRF/WRFV3/test/9febu/wrfout_d03_2014-02-08_00:00:00                                     
 you asked mean winds
 change wind_option

and with WIND_OPTION equal to 0 and -1, I got the "CONC" values equal to zero. As a result, unfortunately, I still have the problem with zero "CONC" values.
Any helps in this regard would be very great,

Please, can you first answer the question whether your WRF writes instantaneous or time-averaged winds?

I am not sure about the answer of your question, but according to the following link, wrfout data are instantaneous:

Fortunately, I did get results other than zero and my problem is solved. You may close the ticket. However, as I asked in ticket:184, I can't understand what parameter is "CONC" output with unit s.m3/kg is giving us?
