Description

write a configure script that will produce an appropriate makefile (Paul / Matthias).

Regarding construction of makefiles, Petra proposed to use the tool ​mkmf; Ignacio will look into that (one Makefile for different Versions)

it was also proposed to adapt the FLEXPART directory structure (separate executable from sources)
