#189 fixed FLEXPART Release - Consistent Cs-137 isotope releases and output interpretation acheloni
Description

Hello everyone, I'm trying to correctly set releases to simulate a nuclear plant incident.

I tried with masses (Kg) to specify the release.

An incident such as Fukushima or Chernobyl with about 1016 Bq Cs-137 radionuclide activity, the corresponding mass released in the atmosphere is about 3.2Kg.

With "3.2" set for masses and a 12hr release, the resulting Cs-137 forecasted concentrations are lower than 10-13 (Kg/m3 ?).

Is that a sounding result or I'm missing something?

Generally, what's the "best" way to configure a nuclear plant incident?

Thank you in advance

#188 worksforme AVAILABLE file problems pesei psrivastava
Description

Hello everyone, I am new to flexpart and having some problem in running model. The error I am getting is

  #### FLEXPART MODEL ERROR! NO WIND FIELDS ####
  #### AVAILABLE FOR SELECTED TIME PERIOD. ####

I am using input data from NCEP FNL since GFS data one was not available for year 2016. I have tried with two kinds of AVAILABLE files (self generated as mkAVAIL.py didn't work for FNL data) but the error is same. Both the files have been attached for reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

#187 fixed ECMWF data retrieval software, V4.1 for 2017 data pesei gtong
Description

Dear FLEXPART utilizator,

I am trying to extract ECMWF windfield with ECMWF data retrieval software V4.1 on ecgate to use in FLEXPART_9.02 for windfiled in 2017.

First, I had some problem to compile source.tar that I fixed by deleted one compiler option. By Now I have one problem to extract the data every 3 hours, the run seems to work for the first day but then the second day, I have the error "ENFILE does not exist", actually, the program did not create some intermediates file as 003 (hour).

Does anyone have a program for data extraction in 2017 or a solution to this problem?

Thank you in advance

Sincerely Gisèle Krysztofiak
