#42 | worksforme | ECMWF pre-processor too heavy | anphi | pesei |
Description |
(from minutes of FpDev Workshop 2012) The current ECMWF data pre-processor needs excessive cpu resources; the retrieval of global high-resolution ECMWF data currently only works on the ECMWF HPC system; ZAMG/Matthias is ready to look into that, and to propose updates; Standard FLEXPART input data sets (e.g., global 0.5 degrees) could be stored at ECMWF for direct download for the FLEXPART community (ZAMG) |

#57 | fixed | Wrong version strings in header and header_nest files | anphi | radekhofman |
Description |
When reading outputs from FLEXPART 9.0, there are different version strings in header_nest and header files: header_nest contains "FLEXPART V8.2" and header contains "FLEXPART V9.0" which is confusing. For reading headers I used flex_81.py module: "Reading and unpacking routines from J.Brioude (NOAA)". |

#200 | fixed | Installation help | anphi | mitchekc |
Description |
I'm trying to install FLEXPART_WRF. I found another ticket that said only netCDF libraries were needed. Is that correct? I have been unable to get the grib api libraries to install. I tried using the cmake command as directed in the README file but I just get an error that says the folder I set for the install cannot be found. when I use the command cmake install the installation tries to copy files to the computing cluster software directory - which is read only to all users. I want to install FLEXPART-WRF in a sub-folder of home directory. I cannot figure out how to make this work. Can you please help? |
