Drawbacks:
- None. You can delete your account at any time. Lost passwords will be mailed by automatic procedure. E-mail address will not be exposed on the web and only be used for communication related to FLEXPART.
How?
- Automatic registration is unavailable. Please email to flexpart.eu [AT] zamg.ac.at. User and password will be mailed to you with some delay.
- User name: Developers use all lowercase names, so for discerning users and developers it is suggested that you choose a user name starting with uppercase (preferably your real name - note that e-mail addresses are not exposed)
- You ll receive a token to verify your email address and you are good to go.
Discussion list for users of FLEXPART (& FLEXTRA)
Everyone can subscribe to this mailing list, and we suggest that registered users also subscribe to the list.
- Do not use this list for bug reports or feature requests - those have to be submitted through tickets.
- However, you may want to
- discuss ideas with others on the list,
- ask for peer support,
- find collaborators,
- announce interesting results, advertise Fp-related jobs, etc.
- The list is presently not moderated and not archived.
- Also, announcements (e. g., new versions of FLEXPART and related software) will be made through this list!
How to subscribe the discussion list: If possible, at https://lists.univie.ac.at/mailman/listinfo/flexpart. As the this website has been blocked for certain countries because of high spam levels, you have the alternative to subscribe by sending email to flexpart-request /at/ lists.univie.ac.at (pls correct the address manually - spam protection), no subject and subscribe flexpart in the mail body.
If you subscribe from a non-institutional email address, you will probably be asked to provide some information about yourself and your work, in order to keep spambots out!
