I have no personal experience with this option. Please try to debug yourself: compile with backtrace option (in gfortran: -fbacktrace; -fbounds-check is also good for debugging) so that you see where exactly the segmentation fault occurs. Either this will help to understand the problem, or you know at least where you have to insert print statements to find out more.
