Can stratospheric ozone tracer simulation of flexpart be simulated using NCEP input data or we should use ERA input data only.

  • Component changed from FP other to FP coding/compilation
  • Description modified (diff)
  • Summary changed from About Stratospheric ozone tracer to About stratospheric ozone tracer

I have no personal experience with this option.
Please try to debug yourself: compile with backtrace option (in gfortran: -fbacktrace; -fbounds-check is also good for debugging) so that you see where exactly the segmentation fault occurs. Either this will help to understand the problem, or you know at least where you have to insert print statements to find out more.

Thanks for kind reply. I get this segmentation fault error only when my release location is inside the outgrid defined location however when there is no overlap the simulation works with no error. Here I want to know is there any rule/definition regarding selection of these respective location.

release location? I thought you do a domain-filling run?

Please explain how to do a domain-filling run, I feel I am confused there only. further please have a look at to my attached command file, release file and outgrid file, which I am using for domain filling run and if wrong plz suggest the needed changes.

Thanks
Prajjwal

Please read the documentation. If you are interested in stratospheric ozone, why do you want to define a release?
